I love my protein shakes thick and creamy and this recipe ticks off my fruit count of the day plus 1 serve of my vege count. Made with NOWAY strawberry protein powder, this protein shake is so sweet and filling and a great way to use up strawberries that are a little bruised and thus ignore by your peeps.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 a cucumber, washed chopped

  • 1/2C of strawberries, washed, ends removed

  • 1C of coconut water

  • 1/2 of Almond Milk

  • 2 scoops of Protein powder

  • 2 scoops of fibre

Directions

  • Add all ingredients into a high powdered blender until smooth.

Notes

  • In this smoothie I used Noway Protein Strawberry. I like this brand because the flavour is great, i’ve tried a few vegan powders but just don’t like them and I try most of the time to be dairy free. One thing to know with this brand is even though it contain protein it does not contain all the amino acids but this is only a problem if your diet is lacking it through the day.
  • The fibre I added is not one you can buy unfortunately. Its a practitioner only brand. Its my fav one I prescribe. Ot contains 12 different types of fibre (soluble and insoluble) plus prebiotics and has no flavour.
